How to restrict a staff member to a specific IP address range

There may be times where it is necessary to restrict staff members to a specific IP address range, in order to enforce the use of trusted devices when using Class Charts.

To restrict the permitted IP addresses for a specific staff member, click on the three lines menu in the top right hand corner of the page and select Teachers from the list of available options.

You will be presented with a list of users that have previously been added to Class Charts. Click on the three dots menu for the teacher of your choice.

Next, select Restrict IP from the list.

The Restrict IP popup will appear. Enter the IP mask that the selected staff member should use and click on the OK button.

Class Charts will now take the specified IP mask into account when the selected staff member attempts to log in.
